The country expanded comprehensive sexuality education and access to accurate HIV and sexual and reproductive health information to young people in schools. Hence, 40 teachers and 14 technical staff members from the Ministry of Education received training on delivery of comprehensive sexuality education, implementation tools and action plans while six regions had support to rollout comprehensive sexuality education in their schools. In addition, 436 young people accessed integrated sexual and reproductive health and HIV services package to reduce new HIV infections and early or unintended pregnancies through two newly established youth corners with support from the Joint Team. More than 500 young people and 117 educators, and parents were also sensitized on comprehensive sexuality education in 2022 (UNFPA, UNESCO).

A study of HIV in the workplace and employment opportunities for key populations as well as the strategic plan for labour administration on Occupational Health and Safety, Child Labour, and HIV were finalised through technical support from the Joint Team (ILO, UNAIDS Secretariat).
